Service Description

CDMO Signal is a free, independent intelligence platform for cell and gene therapy (CGT) contract development and manufacturing organizations (CDMOs). The platform provides:

AI-powered search — Describe your manufacturing needs in plain language and receive ranked CDMO recommendations backed by evidence from our database and real-time web search.

CDMO profiles — Detailed profiles for 156 CDMOs with FDA inspection records, clinical trial data, SEC filings, press coverage, and composite Signal Scores.

Comparison tools — Side-by-side comparison of CDMOs across quality, operations, financial stability, and capacity.

Modality guides — Market overviews for AAV, CAR-T, lentiviral, cell therapy, mRNA/LNP, and plasmid DNA manufacturing.

All features are free and available without registration.

AI Search

The AI search is powered by Anthropic's Claude. Results combine structured database intelligence with real-time web search to provide comprehensive CDMO recommendations.

AI-generated results are informational and should not be the sole basis for manufacturing partner decisions. The AI may occasionally produce inaccurate information. Always verify critical data points independently.

Usage is rate-limited to 10 AI searches per hour per user to ensure fair access for everyone.

Data Accuracy and Disclaimer

Signal Scores and CDMO data are provided as-is for informational purposes. Scores are computed from publicly available, independently verifiable data including FDA inspection records, ClinicalTrials.gov, SEC EDGAR filings, and press monitoring.

Public data sources are refreshed on a regular schedule but may not reflect the most recent developments. Web search results are sourced in real time but are not independently verified by CDMO Signal.

Always conduct your own due diligence when selecting manufacturing partners. CDMO Signal is not liable for business decisions made based on data or recommendations provided by this platform.

Intellectual Property

The Signal Score methodology, composite scoring algorithms, data aggregation pipeline, and presentation are proprietary to CDMO Signal. The underlying public data (FDA records, clinical trials, SEC filings) remains in the public domain.

Acceptable Use

Do not scrape, bulk download, or systematically extract data from the platform.

Do not use the AI search to generate misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive content.

Do not attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse the service.

Do not misrepresent CDMO Signal data or scores as your own analysis.

We reserve the right to restrict access for users who violate these terms.
