Privacy Policy

Overview

CDMO Signal is a free, open-access intelligence platform. No account or registration is required. We collect minimal data and do not track you.

Data We Collect

IP addresses — Collected in-memory for rate limiting only (to prevent abuse of the AI search). IP addresses are not stored to disk and are cleared automatically when the server restarts.

Search queries — When you use the AI search, your query is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for processing alongside our CDMO database context. We log search queries, timestamps, AI-classified intent categories, and which results were clicked to improve our search quality. An anonymized hash of your IP address (not the IP itself) is stored for aggregate usage analysis. No personally identifiable information is linked to search logs unless you are signed in. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train their models. See Anthropic's privacy policy for details.

Web search — The AI search may perform web searches to supplement database results. When this happens, search terms related to CDMOs may be processed by web search infrastructure. No personal data is included in these searches.

No third-party usage analytics or behavioral tracking (we use only first-party search analytics to improve results)

No advertising identifiers

Cookies

We use only essential cookies for basic site functionality. We do not use tracking cookies, third-party analytics cookies, or advertising cookies.

Third-Party Services

Anthropic (Claude AI) — Powers the AI search. Your search queries and CDMO database context are sent to Anthropic for processing. Anthropic does not train on API inputs.

CDMO Intelligence Data

All CDMO data displayed on this platform comes from publicly available sources: the FDA Data Dashboard, ClinicalTrials.gov, SEC EDGAR, and public press monitoring. No personally identifiable information is collected from these sources. This data is aggregated and scored to provide manufacturing intelligence.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. The only external data transmission is search queries sent to Anthropic's API for AI processing, as described above.
